Luke Muehlhauser of the Open Philanthropy Project published an article on the moral status of animals. It included a rough estimate of the probability that various animals have consciousness in the morally relevant sense.
I worked off the probability of consciousness from Section 4.2, not the admittedly more subjective “care about” estimate.
The table is highly incomplete, and so most values here are extrapolated. He does not mention octopuses, so my value there is a rough “in-between” estimate.
